Lost Yet Found

Lost Yet Found

I was planning to go for a hike in the Night River Forest. I love hiking there because it is full of amazing creatures, giant streams and  orange trees as tall as powerpoles.

I was going to camp there in Night River Forest just along the the edge of the river where it is safe. But somehow I ended up in the middle of nowhere? I couldn't See the path I was traveling on. I was lost. I only had a bottle and a half a of clean water a marmalade sandwich with some fruit a small tent  and a scrunched up outdated map of the forest 136 years ago that is completely useless.
I was starting to freak out when I heard the copper leaves crunch , first I thought it was me, but then I realized I was being watch by someone. “I’m saved’ I yield dramatically I heard growl uh oh I thought,  my heart pumped wildly wondering what was watching me! GROWL! ah I jumped with fright falling backwards onto the leaves, crunch!
Out jumped wolves, at least 13 of them yes I counted. They surrounded me, I could just see a gap between the pack of hungry wolves I ran as fast as I could through the gap, the wolves followed “uh oh” a cliff was just in front of me the pack surrounded me again, this time they made sure I would not escape, but I still outsmarted them. I heard a waterfall nearby so I slowly made my way to the edge of the cliff, I looked over “yes I knew it, a waterfall” I jumped off the edge of the cliff just regretting what I did.
I closed my eyes as I fell, praying that I will somehow survive falling into the river because I can’t swim. Slap, I hit the water in a belly flop position “ouch“. My arms and legs were aching I couldn’t move. I felt myself sinking into the freezing water (it was like standing in a freezer) I thought this was my end. But I wouldn’t let this be the end of my days I still had a long life to live.So I tried to swim to the surface but I got pushed down because of the waterfall, I was right underneath it. I was starting to run out of air. The  warm sun was starting to set, so the river got even colder. My body couldn’t take the freezing cold any more I had to find another was out of this mess “yes a underwater cave I might find a air pocket in there?” I swam over to the cave, as I swam I think I invited some unwanted attention!
I turned around, I could see something moving in the distance but I couldn’t quite tell what it was because the water was all blurry and there was no light but I knew there was something behind me!

                                                         MORE COMING SOON!
